2026 Lake George Conservation Club Annual Picnic Recap

The Lake George Conservation Club held its annual picnic on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Lake George Regional Park. Despite temperatures soaring above 90 degrees, approximately 50 members, neighbors, and guests attended. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to gather, visit with friends and neighbors, and enjoy an afternoon together at the lake. A delicious taco bar from Casa Rio was served.

During the picnic, the winners of the 2026 Lake George Fourth of July Boat Parade were recognized. First place was awarded to the Jerry Cullen pontoon, second place went to the Jochum pontoon, and honorable mentions were awarded to Birdie and Tom Rotrameland Jackie Sundsrud and her crew.

The picnic raffle was once again a popular part of the afternoon. The Club sold $200 in raffle tickets with the proceeds benefiting the Lake George Conservation Club. The $50 raffle prize was won by Perry Prestholdt. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and helped support the Club.

A special thank-you goes to the following individuals who generously donated prizes for the 2026 picnic raffle:

Tom and Birdie Rotramel

Vicky and Paul Wilken

Tami Isaacson

Perry and Cindy Prestholdt

The generosity of our donors helped make the raffle fun and successful.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated raffle prizes, purchased tickets, helped with preparations, or assisted during the picnic. Even with the extreme summer heat, the 2026 picnic was an enjoyable gathering and another wonderful example of the friendly and cooperative neighborhood spirit surrounding Lake George.
