The loon in the photo was banded as an adult female on July 13, 2012. It was in the Loon Cam territory, originally banded as yellow/silver on the right leg and geolocator tag/red on the left leg. That's 13 years ago already! Thanks for sharing the photos. The loon/northern shot is amazing! That loon was 30" from bill tip to end of tail in 2012, and the northern appears to be nearly as long as the loon!!
